Strawberry Pineapple and Chilli Salad

This salad is perfect for breakfast and yes, it makes you full. This mix gives you a kick of energy for the whole day and still you will feel light after eating. This salad is also great for weight loss because of pineapple, strawberry and chilli! Yes, you heard me good! There will be chilli with lime juice, fresh mint and agave syrup! This healthy dressing is low in calories and give you a kick! I mean a positive kick in the day.

Before start…
For this recipe you really want to use fresh pineapple (not from can), fresh mint and fresh chilli. This fresh mix gives you a lot of vitamins and minerals, a big kick of energy and helps with weight loss and of course this taste of freshness… so good!

Dressing…
The mix of fresh lime juice, chilli, chopped fresh mint and agave syrup is magic. You could either mix all of these ingredients and pour into your salad or not mix them at all. Once your salad is ready, sprinkle with chopped mint and chopped chilli, then squeeze lime juice and pour some agave syrup on top (this is how I do it).

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY, PINEAPPLE AND CHILLI SALAD

Ingredients

For salad:

  • Half of romaine lettuce, finally sliced
  • Half of fresh pineapple, finally chopped
  • About 10 medium strawberries, finally chopped

Dressing:

  • About 10 mint leaves, finally chopped
  • 2 red chilli rings, finally chopped
  • Lime juice
  • Agave Syrup

On top:

  • Pine nuts
  • Crushed hazelnut

Method
Put the sliced romaine lettuce, chopped pineapple and chopped strawberry in a mixing bowl. Transfer your salad in a serving bowl. Put the chopped mint and chopped chilli on top and pour with lime juice and agave syrup. Sprinkle with pine nuts and crushed hazelnut. Viola!
