Easy Homemade Salsa

People ask me where I buy such a delicious salsa sauce? When I tell them, I’m doing the salsa myself they can’t believe and always ask for this easy homemade salsa recipe. Everybody like it. The secret here is simplicity. It’s perfect for nachos, toasted sourdough and fresh veggies. Is much healthier than a store version and much tastier. All about fresh tomato, green pepper, onion and pickled jalapeno. Salt and pepper. That’s it! And some fresh herb if you like it!

Before start…

The best for this recipe are fresh tomatoes but you can always use chopped or plum tomatoes instead. I used pickled jalapeno rings because I like this taste and flavour but you can use fresh chilli or cayenne pepper instead. Than I used white onion because I didn’t have red onion ( it doesn’t change the taste of salsa only the colour). I used green bell pepper because I want to make similar version to store one. You can use any colour of bell peppers you like instead. Be aware red bell pepper is sweeter than green. You can use any fresh herbs you like it. I like my salsa simple only with salt and pepper. Be creative and try to find your favourite version of flavours 🙂
