Eating more fruit and veggies on breakfast gives you more power in a day. I love to mix them up together. This salad gives you power and sweetness but also light feeling after eating. You just need few minutes to prepare it. And hey how much fancier eating fruit and veggies could be?

For this recipe you can use any sweetener syrup you want e.g. maple syrup, agave syrup, honey…

Make it cheaper!

Off the season strawberries are too expensive. You can choose any fruit you want instead them. Great choice are nectarines or peaches.

PRICE: £2,25 for one portion

(Lamb’s lettuce £1,00; Orange £0.20; Strawberries £0,45; Walnuts £0,30; 2tbsp agave syrup £0,30)

NOTE: The price of strawberry is seasonal.


Makes 1 portion


  • 60 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 1 orange
  • 2 handful strawberries
  • Handful walnuts
  • 1-2 tbsp agave syrup


Wash the orange, strawberries and lamb’s lettuce. Place the lamb’s lettuce in your serving plate. Cut the orange and strawberries into smaller pieces. Put them with the walnuts on top of salad. Drizzle with maple syrup.
