Frozen Chocolate Banana Lollies

frozen chocolate banana lollies

Look at these! They are perfect snack when you craving something sweet. Super simply and super healthy. Covered with home made vegan chocolate, made them perfect snacks for your vegan friends too. And hey don’t forget to ask your children for help! They’ll enjoy this part with sprinkles.

Before start…

Pour a chocolate in a high glass. Believe me, that is much easier to work with.

Make it cheaper!

Use any sprinkles you want! The best one are leftovers from your kitchen shelf.

PRICE: £1.90 for 6 chocolate banana lollies

(3ripe bananas £0.40; 2tbsp coconut oil £0.44; 2tbsp agave syrup £0.30; 2tbsp cacao powder £0.36;
mix of sprinkles £0.40)

Makes 6 Lollies

INGREDIENTS

Banana

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • Wooden popsicle sticks

Chocolate

  • 2tbsp coconut oil
  • 2tbsp maple syrup
  • 2tbsp coco powder

Toppings

Use your favourite. I love use pistachios, roasted buckwheat, crushed almonds, quinoa puffs, coconut flakes, caramelized oats and sunflower seeds.

METHOD

Bananas: Peals the bananas, cut them in a half and insert popsicle sticks into flat edge. Freeze for at least 2 hours until hard.

Chocolate: Melt coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Turn off the heat. Add the maple syrup and coco powder. Mix together well until smooth. Pour the chocolate in a high glass (I used martini glass).

Assembling: Remove the bananas from freezer. Dip the bananas in chocolate then roll in toppings.
