Gingerbread Spice Mix
Try this home-made Gingerbread Spice Mix and you’ll never want to use store ones again. This one is perfect for cold days and Christmas season. You can warm your tea or coffee adding some of the spice mix inside. You can also make your porridge or pancakes more fancy using some of the spice mix. Feel free to combine in your kitchen. This warm, cosy and aromatic spices mix made your day brighter.

You’ll need a coffee blender for this recipe.

You can use any spices you want to. Try use your leftovers from your cupboard. If you use white sugar, you can use it instead coconut sugar.
Makes 1 medium jar
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cloves
- 2 anise stars
- 12 cardamom grains
- 16 pepper grains
- 20 coriander grains
- 80g coconut sugar
- 2 tsp cacao
- 4 tsp nutmeg
- 4 tsp cinnamon
METHOD
Using a small knife, cut the cardamom grain in a half. Scrape the seeds out of the grain. Repeat with remaining. Put the cloves, anise stars, cardamom grains, pepper and coriander in a coffee blender and pulse few times. Add the coconut sugar, cacao, nutmeg and cinnamon and pulse few times again. Sift the gingerbread spice mix through a sieve. Store in a jar.
