Farfalle With Sauerkraut And Mushrooms
Sauerkraut provide healthy benefits to our bodies. And it’s so delicious. I love eat it ‘’raw’’, straight from a jar, but when you connect the sauerkraut with fried onion and mushrooms, turns out in perfect and comforting meal. Add farfalle or any fancy noodles you like it and enjoy!
Before start…
Usually you can buy the sauerkraut in a jar. All you need to do is put the sauerkraut into the strainer and squeeze with your hands to release any remaining liquid. That’s it.

Be creative! You can use any additional ingredients you want.

(200g farfalle noodles £0.50; 1large onion £0.10; 250g mushrooms £0.70; 250g sauerkraut £0.45;
2tbs olive oil £0.12; salt and pepper according to taste £0.02)

INGREDIENTS
- 200g farfalle noodles
- 1 large onion
- 250g mushrooms
- 250g sauerkraut
- 2tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper according to taste
METHOD
Cook the farfalle according to package directions. Chop the onion and mushrooms. Place a frying pan with olive oil over a medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook few minutes, until golden brown, stir occasionally. Once the onion is ready add the chopped mushrooms cook until soft, stir occasionally. Meantime slice the sauerkraut into smaller pieces. Once the mushrooms are soft add the sauerkraut with salt and pepper. Cook about 2-3 minutes, stir occasionally (add water if needed). Place the farfalle noodles in a serving plate and serve with sauerkraut on top.
